Online registration for Fall 2023 Water Aerobics is now open. Morning Lap Swim does not require pre-registration at this time.

Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons Summer 2023 - Thank You For a Great Summer!

The City of Monterey Park offers swim lessons for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Swim Lessons will be held at George Elder Park Pool, pending staff availability. In accordance with the learn-to-swim program, set to American Red Cross standards, swimmer pre-requisites must be met in order to advance to upper-level classes.

Morning Lap Swim

For the fitness conscious looking for a great low-impact workout, Morning Lap Swim is available at George Elder Park Pool. Lap Swim lanes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with no registration required. Locker rooms are available for changing, showering, and restroom use.

Morning Lap Swim hours are:

Monday - Friday 6:00-8:00 a.m.

Saturday & Sunday 6:00-10:00 a.m.

Fees

The City of Monterey Park accepts cash, check, and credit card as forms of payment. Please make checks payable to the City of Monterey Park. Payment is accepted at the pool. All fees will increase July 1st per City Council resolution no.11771.
