Monterey Park offers a variety of special events throughout the year. Additional events such mayoral installations can be found on the
community calendar. Each event requires the efforts of volunteer committee members, the talents of area vendors and financial and in kind donations from local businesses and organizations.
Volunteer Committees and Sponsors
Volunteer committee members typically meet once a month to discuss entertainment, logistics, and publicity, and then assist on the day of the event. The need for food and craft vendors varies depending on the nature of the special event.
Sponsorships offer businesses and organizations an excellent opportunity to get their message in front of thousands of local residents who recognize and appreciate community involvement.
