Dementia/Alzheimer's Kits

The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is lending interactive kits to provide the community with resources to take an active role in engaging loved ones, friends, and elders experiencing Dementia/Alzheimer’s.

The Dementia/Alzheimer's kits aim to increase awareness about the disease, provide activities to manage symptoms and provide meaningful interactions between families/caregivers and individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.

The library is lending several kits focusing on the various stages of Dementia/Alzheimer’s that include consumer pamphlets, a list of educational resources about the disease, and items such as:

  • Books
  • Conversation Cards

  • Art Activities
  • Puzzles
  • Games
