Lifeguard Positions Available
The City of Monterey Park is pleased to announce that summer lifeguard positions are available.
Those who learn how to lifeguard obtain emergency management abilities and build confidence and sharpen their leadership skills during the summer months. This is invaluable work experience for any job or career moving forward.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training & Certification Course

Need to get certified? The City of Monterey Park will periodically hold American Red Cross lifeguard training courses. Classes are available to those 16 years and older. Training will include coverage of basic Lifeguarding Skills, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED Essentials, and Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens).
