Housing Rights Center
Purpose
The Housing Rights Center (HRC) works to promote justice and equality in housing. HRC provides Monterey Park residents with free housing counseling and fair housing education, investigates housing discrimination, and assists with disability accommodation requests.
*To protect public safety, HRC is currently providing all services over the phone or online.

HRC offers FREE, confidential housing counseling to Monterey Park residents. Check out the resources below or ask our housing counselors your questions about:

Housing Rights Workshops
You have rights; learn them with the Housing Rights Center. HRC offers free public workshops on housing rights and common issues facing tenants and landlords. All workshops are currently held online:
- Mondays, 1 pm – Facebook Live Housing Rights Q&A
- Thursdays, 6 pm – COVID-19 Housing Rights Workshop (Spanish)
- Fridays, 2 pm - COVID-19 Housing Rights Workshop (English)
