Thursday, May 7, visit Barnes Park for the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration Tribute.
The event will highlight the sights, sounds, and magic of Mexico with a strolling Mariachi and a special performance.
The event is held in conjunction with the annual Happy Birthday Monterey Park Play Days carnival (May 7-10), and the Farmers' Market.

Raffle
An essential part of the Cinco De Mayo event is the support for surrounding businesses, community leaders, and residents. One of the highlights of the day is the raffle drawing, with prizes ranging from free car washes to piñatas, and free dinners at local restaurants.
